About Dr. Imran Mushtaq

Dr. Imran has extensive experience in assessing and treating mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults, with particular focus on young people facing emotional, behavioural, developmental, and psychological challenges. His style of care is compassionate, holistic, and tailored to the needs of each patient.
He is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority, the General Medical Council in the UK, and the Irish Medical Council in Ireland.

Clinical Experience

Dr. Imran began his medical career in paediatrics before moving into psychiatry, giving him valuable insight into child development as well as mental health. He has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the UK, Australia, and Ireland, gaining broad international experience across different clinical settings.
Although he is able to manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, his main clinical focus is child and adolescent mental health. He also accepts referrals for adults.

Qualifications and Professional Contribution

Dr. Imran has been awarded Fellowships by the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK, and the European Board of Psychiatry.
He has also played an active role in teaching, training, and supervision, working with medical students, junior doctors, nurses, and higher trainees in child and adolescent psychiatry across the UK, Ireland, and Australia.
In addition, he holds an honorary position with a medical university in Africa.

Outside clinical practice, he is also a children’s writer in Urdu. He has published many award winning children’s books and serves as the chief editor of an Urdu children’s monthly magazine.
