Dr. Eman Aboseeda is a skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in psychiatry across mental health and general hospital settings. She has particular expertise in women’s mental health and child and adolescent psychiatry and is known for her gentle, supportive, and empathetic approach to care.
About Dr. Eman Aboseeda
Dr. Eman combines broad psychiatric experience with a calm and compassionate manner that helps patients feel understood and supported. She carries out thorough assessments to build an accurate and complete diagnosis, allowing her to provide thoughtful and effective treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1997 and her Master’s Degree in Neuropsychiatry in 2004 from Ain Shams University in Egypt. In 2008, she qualified as an Arab Board Psychiatrist.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Eman began her psychiatric career in 1998 at Ain Shams University Hospital in the Neuropsychiatry Department. She later expanded her experience across a variety of psychiatry services in Egypt, including general psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, addiction services, geriatric psychiatry, outpatient clinics, and inpatient wards.
Her interest in child and adolescent psychiatry grew following her postgraduate training, and from 2009 to 2011 she led the Child Psychiatry Unit at Abbassia Hospital for Mental Health in Egypt.
She also gained 8 years of intensive clinical psychiatry experience at King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Teaching and Mental Health Service Development
Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Eman has contributed to the training of young psychiatrists, with particular focus on child psychiatry.
Since 2020, she has also been an active member of the National Mental Health Platform Project in Egypt, contributing to wider mental health service development.
